Amazon Web Services (AWS) extended its loft pop-up program, hybrid learning center and co-working space, to New York this summer after its launch in San Francisco last year. So what makes these cities so suitable for this initiative?
Amazon’s vice president of global marketing, Ariel Kelman, said that AWS has released more than 500 new services and features in the past year, and these spaces aim to connect with communities asking these questions. “Having this direct contact and daily interaction with customers in two of the world’s hottest startup markets is simply invaluable in keeping innovation going at AWS,” said Kelman. The company says more lofts are planned, all in regions of the world with strong startup communities.
